The FIM X-Trial World Championship is now moving from Africa to Europe.

The second round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship will be taking place next Saturday in Rennes, France. Repsol Honda Team‘s Toni Bou has kick-started his 2020 campaign with positivity as the rider triumphed on the island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean. This time, Bou will be seeking to replicate his victory in Brittany on the French mainland.

The newly-inaugurated Glaz Arena venue in Renne will be hosting the event this Saturday. Defending champion Toni Bou is aiming for a stellar performance this weekend to retain his title.

“We have started the season very well, but we are aware that there will be no easy trial and this forces us to always be very focused and give our maximum in every event. In Rennes I will try to keep on this positive track and, although we have not been able to prepare the X-Trial season as thoroughly as usual as it started so early, the entire team is very motivated after the outcome of the Réunion race,” says Bou as quoted from Repsol Honda Team.

As always you have to congratulate Toni for the victory, today he did very well. Starting this way is fantastic. Now we have to take it one step at a time as always. Today the sections were very tricky so Toni Bou was able to shine and show his best side. Let’s try and keep it up for next week.
