Will Ducati really make it into the electric world? Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali made a statement saying that “The future is electric, we are not far from starting production from the series.” Ducati is known for their amazing bikes with top notch performances. With its conventional bikes, Ducati never failed to bring impressive models and made sure that its bikes were extremely safe for users. The Bologna brand has set sights on coming out with a Bosch cornering ABS as standard on its entire line-up and its next step is to come out with the first radar-equipped production motorcycle in 2020.

An electric Ducati would be expected to have an equally impressive performance as its conventional counterparts. It may potentially come with a higher-end EV that would compete with the Energica Ego and the Lightning LS-218. Some sites have speculated the first e-Ducati to be a sports bike.
