Monster Energy Honda Team bikes are now headed towards Saudi Arabia

The Monster Energy Honda vehicles are all geared up for the 2020 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.

Just a week ago, the Rally Dakar organisers, ASO, have overseen few days of verifications prior to the shipment of all European vehicles due to take part in the upcoming edition of the rally in Saudi Arabia. According to Honda Racing Corporation, the Monster Energy Honda vehicles have successfully made it through the checks and are now headed towards Jeddah.

The team conducted some administrative and technical scrutineering at the Paul Richard Circuit in Le Castellet near Marseille, France. The Monster Energy Honda Team managed to overcome their first hurdle on their way to participation in the Dakar Rally.

Ten Monster Energy Honda Team vehicles were subjected to a technical shakedown. This was after providing all the necessary vehicle documentation and managing their transportation and entry into the new country. The team has thoroughly checked all the bikes especially the bikes’ key mandatory safety elements. Once approved, the officials gave the green light to ship the bikes.

The bikes and will embark on a journey to the port of Jeddah. It will be going through the Mediterranean to Port Said, in Egypt. Then from there, through the Suez Canal and into the Red Sea before reaching the final destination at the Saudi Arabian port. Officials will be collecting the vehicles on January 2 2020.
