2021 Honda EX5 35th Anniversary Edition
Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd (BSH) just introduced the all-new 2021 Honda EX5 35th Anniversary Edition to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the legendary Honda EX5. The 2021 Honda EX5 Anniversary Edition combines the iconic design with a special emblem and an all-new distinctive body decal kit.
First introduced in 1987, the EX5 has been one of the popular kapcai in Malaysia because of it’s remarkable reliability and durability. Marking this year its historical 31-year journey with over 2 million units sold since 1978; the EX5 still stands as one of affordable Kapcais even in 2021.
The Honda EX5 is powered by an air-cooled 110cc single-cylinder [PMG-Fi] engine which pushes 6.37 kW at 7,500 rpm and 8.62 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. Besides the aesthetic changes, the mechanical components remain similar to the previous 2020 model.
The 2021 Honda EX 35th Anniversary Edition is offered in two variants: Cast wheel and spoke wheel variant. Both are offered in two colour options: Euphoria Red Metallic and Pearl Nightfall Blue.
The pricing starts at RM 4,783 with the 2021 Honda EX5 35th Anniversary Edition spoke wheel variant. On the other hand, the cast wheel variant rolls in with a price tag of RM 5,009; excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee in Malaysia.
