2021 GPX Demon GR200R
GPX Malaysia officially pulled the cover off the 2021 GPX Demon GR200R sports bike for the Malaysian market last Saturday, on the 24th of April 2021. The Demon GR200R is one of the GPX bikes that we have been looking forward to seeing this year. Given the price point, we think the 2021 GPX Demon GR200R is nicely spec’d. Speaking of the bike, the 2021 GPX Demon GR200R falls under GPX’s sports bike range and it’s currently the biggest fully-faired sports bike that’s offered by the Thai-automaker.
Unlike the Panigale-inspired GPX Demon 150, the GPX Demon GR200R follows its own design from the ground up. Thanks to the sleek modern lines that flow from the head cowl to the tail section, the GR200R is a complete stunner. In the case of electronics, the model gets full LED lighting and a modern digital instrument cluster on the inside.
Built around a trellis frame, the GPX GR200R weighs 155kg and packs a 10.5-litre fuel tank. Braking is done via a 2 pot calliper with 276 mm disc up front and a single pot calliper with 220 mm disc at the rear. Suspension duties are taken care of by an upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable YSS multi-link rear suspension set up.
GPX Demon GR200R
Powered by a liquid-cooled 198cc single-cylinder 4 stroke engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the GR200R pushes 17.2 Nm of peak torque and 19 hp of peak power.
The 2021 GPX Demon GR200R is priced at RM 11,388 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee) in Malaysia. The model is available in three colour options: Red Fire, Matt Gray and Black Space. For more details click here.
