PT Astra Honda Motor surprised Indonesian motorcycle enthusiasts when it officially launched the Honda CB150X at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2021 (GIIAS), recently.

The Honda CB150X joins the CB200X in the list of global launches, as the latter saw its introduction in the Indian market a few months ago.

Interestingly, the CB150X has the same design and style touches as the CB200X. This includes the high windshields, wide handlebars and ‘single-piece’ type seats.

Meanwhile, powering the bike is a 149cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The CB140X is capable of generating 16.5hp at 9,000rpm and 13.8Nm at 7,000rpm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

At the same time, the seat height of the CB150X is placed at 805mm with the ground clearance distance being at 181mm.

The Honda CB150X follows the same design language of the X line of ADVs from Honda. It gets a stubby ADV-style beak, a short windscreen along a sculpted fuel tank with long shrouds. Unlike its counterpart, these shrouds are functional. It protects the radiator from any debris. Honda has also equipped the CB150X with a bash plate.
