The special motorcycle is built based on the 30th Anniversary CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP model with several special features. This includes the Ring of Fire animation on the screen and the 30th Anniversary badge on the smart key. Also onboard is the laser engraving on the Akrapovic silencer.
The body panels get full replica paint and gold detailing. Honda also added a film strip showing McGuinness’ participation in the TT race on a Honda machine. It also comes with McGuinness’s autograph on the air box cover along with the serial number plaque on the handlebars.
The Honda carbon fibre front fender weighs 255 grams, which is 38 per cent lighter than the standard unit. It features a carbon fibre rear frame that is 10 per cent lighter. The model features a rear saddle cowl and a high wind visor. Honda has opted to supply the Metzeler Racetec RR tires separately from the model.
This CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP replica has custom garage liners. Even more eye-catching is the crystal with three-dimensional (3D) laser engraving that displays the design of the John McGuinness 100th Start replica motorcycle.
