Honda ADV160 officially lands in Malaysia at RM12,999

Boon Siew Honda has officially launched the Honda ADV160 2023 for the Malaysian market with a price of RM12,999.

For 2022, the compact ‘adventure’ scooter now features a bigger engine at 156.9cc compared to the the149cc before. The new platform means that the Honda ADV 160 now offers 16hp and 14.7Nm now compared to the previous 14.8hp and 13.8Nm.

The biggest upgrade of the bike is the Honda Selectable Torque Control (traction control) function. More interestingly, users can deactivate the HSTC function if they opt to ride ‘off-road’.

For the record, this Honda ADV160 also comes with a different body panel compared to the previous model. The new exterior looks fresher and tougher.

While the Indonesian market comes with two variants, the Malaysian market will roll out only the highest variant which is complete with ABS.

Among the new features on the ADV160 are a UBS port, a new wind barrier, a new LED digital meter panel and a 30L luggage compartment.

The Honda ADV160 also comes with an Idling Stop System function that helps in better fuel economy.
