2017 was certainly at its best for Ducati as the Italian firm managed to have an overall increase in global sales, with a marginal 0.7 per cent. We know what you’re thinking- it is such a minuscule increase. Despite that, the result is pretty good considering the whole motorcycle industry went down by 3.2 per cent.
Sales in its hometown Italy reached a mile high of 12 per cent and grew 1.3 per cent in the US. The US is Ducati’s biggest market but no doubt Italy is catching up with the numbers.

According to the reports, Ducati’s sales were good in the smaller markets, hitting a record of 66 per cent increase in Argentina and 28.3 per cent in Spain whereas gaining 31 percent in China.
“2017 was another great year for Ducati, both commercially and racing-wise,” stated Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding in a press release.
