Ducati introduces three new Scrambler 1100 variants in India

Ducati India has just launched three brand new Scrambler 1100 models, namely the Scrambler 1100, Special and Sport in India. The three new Scramblers are drawing much attention since it was unveiled on Monday.

All the new bikes come with a new L-Twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder, air cooled 1079 cm3 engine. The Scrambler chassis set-up has been developed in parallel with the engine in order to exert higher performance within reach of all riders.

Inspired by the 70s model, the Scrambler 1100 comes with Bosch Cornering ABS and Traction Control. The electronics of the bike has been produced in line with Ducati tradition so that active safety is maximised.

The electronics package has evolved in line with Ducati tradition, to maximise active safety thanks to the Bosch inertial platform. The upgraded fork and rear shock absorber are like the 320 mm dual front brake discs.


“The all new Scrambler 1100 range of motorcycles are a true hipster with a lot of road presence and an extremely capable engine making its performance one of the best in class. It is a carefully thought out motorcycle in this segment with dripping technology and safety features like cornering ABS, traction control with an aim to meet the needs of even the most demanding, expert motorcyclists,” said Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India.

“This motorcycle has been designed to translate the freedom of expression characteristic that the Scrambler stands for and glorify the Land of Joy spirit,” he added.
