Although yet to be introduced to the market, MV Agusta has received over 15,000 pre-orders for the next two ADV models, Lucky Explorer 9.5 and Lucky Explorer 5.5.

CEO Timur Sardarov confirmed the matter in an interview with international media.

“We have received more than 15,000 pre-orders so far. Not only Lucky Explorer, but there is also an increase in demand for our other models.

“In my opinion, once the pandemic constraints are overcome, we can increase production volumes to meet demand,” said Sardarov.

The Lucky Explorer 9.5 and Lucky Explorer 5.5 were unveiled to the public for the first time at EICMA last year. It stole the spotlight as the company’s inaugural ADV model under Sardarov.

The Lucky Explorer Project also brings back the glory of the Cagiva machinery of a bygone era with both variants.

Although the 9.5 variant was fully developed by MV Agusta, the 5.5 model was developed in collaboration with Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Qianjiang Motorcycles, which is also the holder of Italian motorcycle company Benelli.

Interestingly, Lucky Explorer 5.5 will share the same platform as the Benelli TRK 502 as previously reported.

For now, there is still no official date when these two models will be launched. However, it is expected that they will be announced soon.
