Government announces vehicle license aid for Malaysian youth

The Malaysian government has recently announced its latest initiative to bear the cost of, among others, the B2 motorcycle license category.

The 2023 Driver’s License Assistance for Malaysians was announced during the presentation of the 2023 Budget in an effort to help B40 youth.

According to Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Government will cover the cost for the B2 driver’s license. This is because based on vehicle usage statistics, there are still many Malaysians who use vehicles on the road without having a valid driver’s license.

The initiative aims to not only help the B40 youth group but also improve the country’s economic development from the aspect of public transport.
