While he acknowledges his affinity for circuits like Valencia, he’s particularly intrigued by the opportunity to test his skills at tracks where he has faced difficulties previously, such as Sepang and Qatar.
Marquez’s transition to Ducati has come with its own set of challenges, notably adapting to a new machine and learning from his teammates. A recent private test at Portimao, organized by Ducati, allowed him to familiarize himself with the Gresini-inspired Panigale V4 R, offering valuable track time alongside his Ducati teammates.

Traditionally focusing on motocross and MotoGP bikes, recent years saw him sidelined from motocross due to injury, necessitating a shift to street bikes like the CBR650. However, the recent test in Portimao provided him with an opportunity to reacquaint himself with the sensation of speed, crucial for refining his skills on the MotoGP machine.
